OHP officials retrieve body at Lake Thunderbird after man never resurfaces
NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) - Authorities are investigating after a man drowned while at Lake Thunderbird.
Officials with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol were called to the Hog Creek Campground area of Lake Thunderbird on Monday morning.
Investigators say they have recovered the body of a person. OHP says a boater jumped off of a boat to try to retrieve a hat. Sadly, the person did not resurface.
No further information has been released at this time.
