Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg looks set to leave Spurs

The report backs up what we have heard over the last few weeks by stating that Hojbjerg is expected to leave Spurs this summer in search of regular game time after falling down Ange Postecoglou’s pecking order.

It is revealed that the likes of Atletico Madrid and Fenerbahce are now circling over the Dane after learning about his availability.

Tottenham have allegedly informed interested clubs that the 28-year-old would be allowed to leave for a fee of around £20m.

Tyrese Hall could step up for Tottenham next season

Interstingly, The Mirror reports that Hojbjerg’s departure may open the door for Hall to get a prominent first-team role next season.

The 18-year-old was a crucial member of Tottenham’s Under-21 side which won the Premier League 2 title last season and he has seemingly caught the eye of Postecoglou and his staff in training.

While Hall is yet to make his senior debut for the Lilywhites, the 18-year-old did impress in the post-season friendly against Newcastle United in Melbourne last month.

Hall might have a first-team role next season, given Tottenham’s shortage of homegrown and club-trained numbers.

However, Spurs would also need to sign a proven and experienced number six to take the place of Hojbjerg in the squad.
