Pedestrian hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by car in Bridgeport

A pedestrian was seriously injured during a crash in Bridgeport on Monday morning.

Officers just before 11:40 a.m. responded to East Main Street on the report of a motor vehicle crash, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.

Police said a pedestrian was struck and was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
