SMALL BITES: Mezcal festival returns to South Florida for 3 days
This is “Small Bites,” a South Florida Sun Sentinel feature with tiny tidbits on the food and beverage scene — because we know that sometimes you just don’t have room for a long article. You want a little news brief instead, an amuse bouche of information, if you will. Enjoy!
WHAT:
Mezcal Lauderdale wil be flowing into SoFlo for the third year.
There will be a bartender cocktail battle, food pairings, brunch, workshops, panels and more than 40 brands of the distilled alcohol drink made from agave represented throughout the event. The liquor lineup will also include a Grand Tasting showcasing more than 100 mezcals and two tasting dinners helmed by Mexican chefs.
Make sure you check out the mixology class with an ambassador from Madre Mezcal, a performance by Mariachi Voces De América and music from DJ Bonnie Beats.
