CBB star lands huge new job on This Morning and Loose Women – almost a year after winning show
A WELL known TV personality has landed a big new gig as a presenter on This Morning just months after winning Celebrity Big Brother.
David Potts has been tasked with telling ITV viewers how they can win £95,000 and a Mercedes as part of a special competition.
As part of the campaign, he has also made an appearance on Loose Women during the ad break.
In the segment he paces down a cobbled street in Wiltshire while explaining what those tuning in at home have to do to have a chance of winning the prize money.
Fans were delighted to see him back on screens, although some did have an issue with his outfit choice.
One person joked “I hope David Potts doesn’t bend over” as the TV veteran strutted his stuff in a pink blazer – with no trousers on.
David won the Celebrity series of Big Brother in 2024 despite facing some stiff competition from Corrie favourite Colson Smith and Strictly professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin.
He was stunned to come in first place, telling viewers: “I feel shocked, on top of the world, I cannot believe it, I’m feeling slay, I’m ready to take on the day…get me on that runway.”
David originally found fame after appearing on ITV2 shows Ibiza Weekender and Kavos Weekender.
He first joined Ibiza Weekender in February 2016 and started out as a receptionist on the show.
But then he was promoted to head rep on the series.
The shows followed contestants in their twenties as they spent the weekend at a resort hotel and got up to all sorts of antics.
Since appearing on the Weekender shows, David has landed roles on many other series.
In 2019, he appeared on a celebrity special of Dinner Date and shortly after he was confirmed for E4 dating series Celebs Go Dating.
Later that same year he joined the cast of Celebs on the Farm, where he ultimately finished as the runner-up.
Prior to Celebrity Big Brother, one of his last TV appearances was on The Big Celebrity Detox.
