The easy way to make £10K by just walking around the block, taking photos – according to a money-saving pro 

A MONEY-SAVING whizz has shared how you can make £10,000 simply by walking around the block.

Caroline Butler, 47, is a “professional thrifter” and charity shop expert, and revealed that finding derelict buildings can rake you in the cash.

In a clip on her @caroline.shops account, she shared: “I’m gonna tell you how you could earn yourself £10,000 by simply taking a photo of a derelict or an empty building. 

“If you go to the website youspotproperty.com and notify them of an empty or derelict house in England that matches their criteria, they will automatically give you a £20 Amazon or Marks and Spencer’s voucher. 

“If they then go on to purchase the property, they will give you 1 per cent of the purchase price, capped at £10,000.

“So, there’s a possibility you can get yourself £20 in vouchers and ten grand.”

Caroline added that the site also donates £500 to charity, and have supported  Mind and the Lifeboats in the past.

She added: “This is such a fantastic initiative, and it’s definitely worth checking out. 

“And by the way, I’m not affiliated with them; they have not asked me to do this video. 

“I came across this online and thought lots of people would be really interested in it.”

Previously Holly Smith, who runs Coupon Queen, explained how she had shared the tip on This Morning with hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.

Following the segment, a man called Paul Wood got a cheque for £5,000 after spotting a house worth £1million.

She said: “Someone watched me mentioning it on This Morning and was like ‘oo there’s a property at the end of the road, I’m going to go on YouSpotProperty to get my voucher.’

“YouSpotProperty went on to buy that property and they got a check for £5,000 just based on what I said on This Morning.”
