Tropical moisture across the Gulf Coast will enhance rain chances across Acadiana over the next few days. Heavy storms will be on and off throughout your Monday and Tuesday with rain chances 80%. Severe weather is not expected but flash flooding is possible in localized areas. Otherwise, conditions stay warm and muggy with temperatures in the 80s.

Flash flooding is the primary threat within Acadiana. Estimated rainfall totals are 3 to 6" inches with isolated higher amounts possible.
