A SECRET Love Island ‘feud’ was exposed on Aftersun by Maya Jama after an awkward moment between two stars.
Patsy Field and Munveer Jabbal, who were both dumped last week by their fellow islanders, joined Maya after being axed from the show.
Maya discussed with them their attempts to form connections in the villa, including a potential connection with each other.
Patsy said: “Should I tell or will you, about our new relationship status,” which left the crowd and Maya shocked. Patsy quickly clarified: “Friends, friends, I was joking, he had his chance.”
Munveer later joked that he stayed away from drama and love triangles, which is why he got no airtime. Patsy quipped: “I tried to get him involved, I did say, come on, I’m here,” to which Munveer seemed to have a stone-faced reaction.
Maya then asked: “Why did it miss between you and Munveer, what was it, more friendship vibes?”
Patsy called out Munveer, saying: “Munveer tried to say to me on day three, I’m happy where this is going but I’m going to explore my connections, I think you should as well, and I was like, oh ok, cool, I will be, when there’s other connections in here that I want to explore.”
“He was the only guy I fancied in there until Omar walked in,” Patsy added, as Munveer said: “Cheers.”
Maya asked Munveer if there was anyone in the villa he fancied or wanted to get to know, and he replied: “Not really to be honest with you,” to which Patsy cut in again, saying: “Thanks, cheers mate.”
Munveer then said, “Do you know what it is, Patsy’s a lovely girl for me it just moved so quickly with the other connections.”
Patsy pulled a face and asked, “What other connections?” Munveer explained: “I made it clear to Patsy that she’s obviously an attractive girl, brilliant energy, but I just wanted to explore other connections.”
When Maya asked who these other connections were, Munveer replied: “Jess, Harriet towards the back end of it, I was clutching at straws by that point.”
Fans flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss the awkward exchange between the pair.
Some fans claimed that Patsy barely gave Munveer a chance to speak during the Aftersun interview.
