Barack Obama Revealed Michelle Ensured Their Daughters Will ‘Never’ Do This Career

While it seems like both Barack Obama and Michelle Obama’s daughters are making their way in Hollywood, and already seeing success, many wonder if they’ll follow in their dad’s footsteps by entertaining the world of politics. Could Malia Obama and Sasha Obama continue in politics?

In a recent conversation with Jimmy Kimmel and President Joe Biden on June 15, Barck revealed their daughters won’t ever enter politics. They say, “never say never,” but Barack literally said they will “never” enter politics.

During this conversation via People, when asked about if Malia and Sasha will join politics, he said: “That is a question I do not need to answer, because Michelle drilled into them so early that you would be crazy to go into politics. It’ll never happen.”

He also, lovingly added, “They’re powerful young women.”

For those who don’t know, the Becoming author and former US President Barack Obama have two children together.

After getting married in 1992, Michelle and Barack welcomed two daughters through IVF named Malia Ann, born on July 4, 1998, and Natasha (better known as Sasha), born on June 10, 2001.

Now, as of June 2024, Malia is working steadily in Hollywood. She wrote and directed her debut short film called The Heart, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival’s Short Film Program in 2024. Along with that, Malia was a staff writer on the hit show Swarm; all with the stage name “Malia Ann.”

As for Sasha, while she’s very private about her life, many are convinced she was a part of the latest season of the hit show Couples Therapy, because the name “Natasha Obama” was credited as a casting interviewer for the show.
