Joe Biden, the President of the United States, and Donald Trump, the former President, will participate in a 90-minute debate. However, this debate will take place without any audience presence.

The American television network CNN recently announced that the Biden and Trump campaign teams agreed on Saturday to a debate on June 27, featuring two moderators and no audience in the studio.

The network added, “Both candidates agreed to be at a podium, with their positions determined by a coin toss. Microphones will be turned off during the debate, except for the candidate whose turn is to speak.”

Additionally, CNN announced that no devices or notes would be allowed on stage. Candidates will only be given a pen, paper, and water bottle.

Notably, this debate will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, and will last 90 minutes. Neither candidate’s campaign teams can interact with Biden and Trump during the debate.

The upcoming US presidential elections are highly anticipated, with major issues such as the economy, healthcare, and foreign policy expected to be at the forefront of the debates and campaigns. Both parties are gearing up for an intense race, with significant voter turnout expected.

The election process includes primaries and caucuses in each state, followed by the national conventions where each party officially nominates their candidate. The general election will determine who will lead the country for the next four years, making it a pivotal event in American politics.
