Man arrested for stealing 900m of electricity cables

Police on Sunday announced the arrest of a man suspected of stealing 900 metres of electricity cables.

The man, aged 33, reportedly cut down five telegraph poles near the Limassol district village of Ayios Mamas, and made off with the cables.

The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
