Rajkot game zone fire: 2 civic staffers held for tampering with documents

Two Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) employees were arrested for altering documents related to the TRP game zone, where a fire last month claimed 27 lives. This brings the total arrests to 12, including six government officials. Assistant Town Planning Officer Rajesh Makwana and Assistant Engineer Jaideep Chaudhary are accused of forging records post-incident. The fire, which lacked a No Objection Certificate from the fire department, led to the sealing of several game zones and recreation hubs across Gujarat.
