Shahid Afridi SLAMS Rumours Over Babar Azam, Mohammed Rizwan’s OUSTER From Pakistan Team After Shambolic T20 WC 2024

Florida: Following Pakistan’s early exit from the T20 World Cup 2024, the players have faced a lot of criticism with speculations doing the rounds that the entire team would be sacked. Amid all these rumours, former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi asked a pertinent question. Afridi asked fans if they have a better player than Babar and Rizwan.

“We have been hearing much these days that eight to nine players will be removed from the team, it does not happen like that. You remove eight to nine players when you have that many boys waiting for their chance,” Afridi said on his YouTube channel.

“If you are talking about removing Babar as a player, then do you have someone like him?

“Do we have a player capable of replacing Mohammad Rizwan? These types of talks are done when you have a strong bench,” Afridi added.

It has been a shocking run for Pakistan in this tournament. They were first beaten by USA and then against India. Pakistan were in a winning position in both these games, but they squandered it.
