Kate Middleton Donned This Go-to Style of Hers at the 2024 Trooping the Colour

Catherine, Princess of Wales, better known as Kate Middleton, is back in the spotlight, and looks so radiant!

Today, on Saturday, June 15, thousands of people in the UK gathered to celebrate this year’s Trooping the Colour parade. For those who don’t know, it’s a military parade that happens early every year to celebrate the official birthday of the leading British monarchy, and obviously, this year, it’s for King Charles III.

Kate made a surprise appearance in a sleek white dress from Jenny Packham, which featured a white base and black lines throughout. She also donned a matching, striped fascinator from Philip Treacy, per WWD. As for her accessories, we believe she wore her favorite Gianvito Rossi heels in white, along with her Cassandra Goad Cavolfiore Pearl Stud Earrings that she wore at Prince Louis’ christening back in 2018, a striped, monochromatic bow, and a Mulberry clutch.

For a long time, people could guess what Kate would wear on the big day: something custom that’s colorful or pastel from one of her go-to brands like Alexander McQueen. In 2023, she arrived in a vibrant look: a green Andrew GN ensemble that paid homage to the late Princess Diana; completely shaking things up.

This year, she did shake things up a bit, swapping pastels for her iconic, monochromatic taste. She’s actually donned looks similar to this in the past like the Emilia Wickstead dress at the Charity Polo Match on July 6, 2022 and the Jaeger Crepe Dress for the Ben Ainslie America’s Cup Launch.

In case you need a recap, many royal fans didn’t see this coming, especially since it was believed Kate wouldn’t be at the 2024 Trooping the Colour. However, 24 hours beforehand, she gave fans a long-awaited update and a confirmation that she’d actually be at the event.

She posted a snapshot of her in a meadow to her and William’s X account, saying how she’s making good progress and she’;; be at the major event.

“I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet,” she said. You can see the post HERE!
