Jeannie Mai Bought a ‘Mommy & Me’ Gift for Daughter Monaco That Shot up Her Confidence

Jeannie Mai showed everyone that she’s the most supportive mom to her daughter Monaco and that she knows how to make her toddler feel safe and confident.

On June 9, Mai shared a truly heartwarming video to her Instagram with the caption, “She believed she could, so she did. @monacomaijenkins ????.”

We start the video with Mai showing a transformation of her daughter Monaco’s, all thanks to scooters. She started the video saying, “It all started when I noticed that my daughter is a thrill seeker,” showing Monaco’s uncle pushing her around the house in a laundry basket, and Monaco looking as delighted as can be.

She then added, “So obvi…I got us Mommy & Me scooters,” showing Mai picking up the adorable present for her mini-me daughter. “We started out riding at first…” showing Monaco’s reaction and then riding together, Mai noting how “she’d say faster! faster!”

Next, we see Monaco trying to ride it, but she’s “unsure to ride it by herself,” but she keeps cheering her on throughout! She described how they took the scooter everywhere, and “soon, Monaco took off.” In the rest of the video, we see Monaco riding all by herself, showing how she dismounts and how when she fell, Mai would get down with her.

Monaco then taught her grandma and grandpa how to ride, and Mai taught her daughter some ultra-cool tricks!

Truly, we just saw Monaco’s confidence shoot up with this, all thanks to her ultra-supportive mama. It’s such a heartwarming moment, and we can’t believe, that at only two years old, Monaco is riding scooters like a boss and showing she’s a confident princess!

For those who don’t know, back in Jan. 2022, Mai and her ex-husband Jeezy welcomed their daughter Monaco Mai-Jenkins into the world.

In a previous interview, Mai told EOnline in April 2024 that Monaco is her biggest priority in her life. She said, “I’m having a really good time soaking in my intimacy. I’m not gonna lie, Monaco takes full front seat in my life. She’s 1,000 percent my priority and my schedule. But I’m learning how to position myself so that I get what I need as well.”
