T20 World Cup 2024: India vs Canada match prediction – Will rain play a part in the result?

0

Lauderhill: India is set to take on Canada in their final group stage match on Saturday at the Central Broward Park in Lauderhill. Rohit Sharma’s side is already qualified for Super 8 while Canada have been knocked out of the tournament. This match isn’t very important for both the sides as on one hand India will be looking to rest their star players while Canada are playing for pride. However, Canada will be eager to end their campaign on a high note and there is no better way to do it than beating India in such a major tournament.

However, there are significant chances of this game being affected by rain. On Friday, the ground saw a decent amount of rain and more of it is predicted to happen overnight as well.

The past two matches that were supposed to be played at the ground (Sri Lanks vs Nepal and USA vs Ireland) were both abandoned because of the rain and there are chances that the encounter between India and Canada will also be abandoned for the same reason.
