IF you can find the furry animal concealed in the brainteaser, feel free to brag about your impressive eyesight.

Most people can see the metal cage and hay in the optical illusion, but spotting the kitten in less than seven seconds takes skill.

Reddit user Comfortable_Might shared a mind-boggling brainteaser on the social media platform.

In their post, they challenged others to uncover the kitten cleverly concealed in the barnyard scene.

“Find the kitten,” they wrote in the caption.

Cats are incredibly agile and stealthy creatures that can easily blend into their surroundings.

The household pets are also born hunters, despite how cute they may look.

Do you think you can find it in less than 10 seconds?

Better yet… seven seconds?

If you think you can do it, set your timer and test your skills.

If you’re having trouble locating the creature, don’t worry.

The answer is directly below circled in red.

The kitten had squished itself perfectly into the bottom of the cage.

If you found the cuddly animal within the time frame, you may be lucky enough to have 20/20 vision.

Some Redditors found the hiding spot to be funny.

“Whenever people post cats on here I always think ‘where is the worst possible place for a living thing to be hiding’ and I’m always right,” one commented.

“Needless to say I have multiple cats who follow this rule.”

“Mean mugging little haystack,” someone else added.

“Omg how cute!” another gushed.

If you want another chance to test your critical thinking skills, take a crack at another illusion below.

You have 20/20 vision if you can spot all three snakes in under a minute

Reddit user Roseycheekies took a photo of a few camouflaged snakes while doing fieldwork at Boxcar Rocks, a tourist attraction in Jonestown, Pennsylvania.

They posted the image and challenged other users to “find the three copperheads.”

It’s apparent that there are two snakes in the image above, but can you see a third?

How quickly do you think you can find all three?

Did you find all three reptiles in the allotted time?

Set your timer for 60 seconds and test your buzzworthy skills.

If it took you longer than the time above, don’t worry because we won’t keep you in suspense any longer.

The answer is directly below and all three hiding spots are circled in red.

The first two snakes are near the stone block and the third is toward the bottom of the visual in the middle.

Benefits of brainteasers and optical illusions

Researchers have developed many tests to show how various brain regions react to brainteasers and optical illusions. There are many benefits.

  • They are not only entertaining, but they also shed light on how our brains interpret visual data.
  • By giving your brain a little workout regularly, you enhance your ability to focus and observe details.
  • Studies have shown people who regularly challenge themselves with optical illusions and puzzles see big improvements in their problem-solving skills, concentration, and attention.
  • Improved concentration and attention span can help prevent cognitive decline in old age.
  • Optical illusions can improve eyesight by allowing you to see small print.
