Tempo traveller falls in to gorge in Uttarakhand, 8 feared dead

A tempo traveller carrying 23 people plunged into a gorge near the Alakananda River In Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand. The accident resulted in at least eight feared dead and seven injured. Local authorities and the SDRF are conducting a rescue operation, with the injured receiving treatment at the nearest medical center. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed condolences and assured an investigation into the incident.
