It’s the smash-hit kids’ cartoon that follows a family of dogs and one that’s become a firm favourite amongst kids and their parents – and now you can treat your little fan with an adorable Bluey collection in time for school holidays.

The popular Aussie cartoon, which first aired in 2018, has since seen a number of Bluey-inspired toys selling on the high street and in supermarkets.

Now, another retailer has joined its rivals, offering a cute Bluey dining set going for as little as £2 – and even less.

The discovery was recently made by one mum, Chelsea Martin, who took to Facebook to inform fellow parents and their Bluey super fans.

According to the shopper, a lesser-known discount store, One Beyond, was selling different kitchen essentials for children, including a place mat for £1 and a plate that was also going for a quid.

The adorable dining must-haves all featured the famous animated dogs with a leafy background – and it’s easy to see why they’ve already become such a hit.

Other goodies the mum had managed to get her hands on, she showed off the post, included a Bluey bowl that cost her £1 and a plastic cup selling for £1.25.

”They also had spoon and fork – £1. Also had the lunch box for £2,” the bargain hunter added in the caption.

It’s also worth checking out the discount store if your mini me prefers other cartoons – as there are plenty of other options.

These, Chelsea shared, included Spiderman, Stich, as well as Peppa Pig and Bing.

Needless to say, the news have taken the internet by storm, with fellow parents flocking to comments to tag their pals and family.

”Right… so seems we are redecorating our kitchen,” chuckled one person.

”Need these!” another chimed in, already planning a trip to the narest store.

One mum wrote: ”Thank you for posting. Managed to get some in Robroyston too and a magic painting set.”

Unfortunately, not everyone was raving about the kitchen essentials, as one parent warned others about the poor quality.

”The design doesn’t stay on the plate/bowl for long.

What to watch out for when buying toys online

HERE are the British Toy and Hobby Association's top tips for buying toys online:

  1. Shop early. Don’t leave ourchases to the last minute rush which might leave you fewer options of where to buy from.
  2. Check out third-party sellers. Look for sellers you recognise and trust. Be cautious of retailers you don’t know and do your research checking reviews and where they’re based.
  3. Go for branded toys. Try and choose a branded toy as then you can compare it to the manufacturer’s own website to check it’s legit.
  4. Be careful of going for the cheapest price. If something looks too good to be true, it probably is.
  5. Check if there are any age restrictions. Make sure you give suitable toys to children based on their age.
  6. Check reviews carefully. Some reviews are fake so look carefully at the comments.
  7. Stay with children at first. When your child opens a toy for the first time, stay with them and check for faults, detachable small parts, access to stuffing and loose or accessible batteries or magnets.

”My daughter has the set & both the plate & bowl are now just blue.”

One Beyond launched a little more than four years ago and currently has over 100 stores nationwide, The Sun reported earlier.

The discount retailer sells 4,000 different products for £1, with thousands more selling for a higher price.

Chris Edwards, chief executive officer, previously told The Sun: “We’re looking forward to bringing One Beyond’s incredible value to even more shoppers across the UK.”
