Three arrested on drug charges after search warrant in Troy

Troy Police Special Operations Section Detectives have arrested three suspects who have been charged with selling fentanyl-laced heroin.

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Troy Police Special Operations Section Detectives have arrested three suspects who have been charged with selling fentanyl-laced heroin. On June 6, around 12 p.m., Troy Police Detectives conducted a search warrant at a home on 5th Avenue in Lansingburgh after a lengthy investigation into reported drug sales at the residence.

Three suspects were taken into custody without incident on Thursday, all three were brought to Central Station for processing and held for arraignment in Troy City Court. Police identified the suspects as David L. Arrington, 58, of Troy, Robert M. Murray, 59, of Troy, and Laura J. White-Pullen, 54, of Troy.

During the search, evidence was recovered that tested positive for both heroin and fentanyl.

The three all face the following charges:

  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance – Intent to Sell (3rd Degree)
  • Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Drug (4th Degree)
  • Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (7th Degree)

Detectives received several tips from concerned community members who assisted in the investigation. Detectives confirmed the necessary facts supporting the issuance of a court-ordered search warrant for the residence and suspected drug dealers.

These arrests are demonstrative of the Troy Police Detectives' ongoing pursuit of dangerous drug dealers within our community. Their hope is these arrests serve as a deterrent for those who choose to peddle narcotics within neighborhoods and that the confiscation of this fentanyl-laced heroin will prevent harm to any individual who would have otherwise come into contact with it.
