Motorcyclist found dead at scene of crash on 82nd Avenue

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened on Southeast 82nd Avenue and Mitchell Street early Friday afternoon, officials say.

Officers responded to the scene just north of Southeast Foster Road around 12:40 p.m. and found the motorcyclist already dead at the scene. The driver of the car involved in the crash remained at the scene to help police with their investigation.

As of 1:30 p.m., Southeast 82nd Avenue remains closed between Southeast Raymond Street and Foster Road.
