'Don’t Let Em Sink Ur Boat': Major trolling effort planned to ruin MAGA birthday party

0

A 'MAGA Boat Parade' to celebrate former President Donald Trump this weekend is spurring much mockery — even from the Democratic National Committee.

Trump supporters who gather on Michigan's Lake St. Clair at 1 p.m. Saturday to celebrate the presumptive Republican nominee's 78th birthday outside Detroit will see a plane flying over their heads with a DNC banner, Salon reported Friday.

"Trump's a crook," the banner will reportedly read. "Don’t Let Em Sink Ur Boat."

Democrats will also erect billboard ads near Turning Point USA’s “People’s Convention” in downtown Detroit that depict Trump alongside Steve Bannon and Roger Stone, all of whom have been convicted on criminal charges, Salon reports.

“Trump and his fellow crooks are in Detroit asking for your vote,” the billboards will read. “But it’s just a scam."

Earlier on Friday, Biden's campaign trolled Trump with an email blast counting 78 of Trump's "accomplishments." They included falling asleep during his criminal hush money trial and filing for bankruptcy six times.

As Democrats planned their on-the-ground mockery campaign, liberals took to social media to mock the boat parade in their own words.

"Oh Great," said X user Tobi. "I loved the last one here on Lake Travis at Lago Vista, Texas. The Cult proved so Stupid that they actually sunk 6 boats in that parade."

NPR reported at the time that five boats sank during the 2020 campaign event.

"Chances a MAGA boat adorned with flags will sink = high," added Artie Vandelay.

"What happens when huge groups of hateful/self-entitled/bully mags allowed in one place," wrote Karen DeSha. "LUCKY no one DROWNED."

X user Michigan GOP Watch gave a helpful reminder to the conservative party: "A reminder from the 2020 election: Boats don't vote."
