Lake Charles man accused of child sex crimes arrested Thursday
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) -- A Lake Charles man was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of sex crimes involving children, authorities said.
Jesse A. Racca, 47, of Lake Charles, is charged with two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
On Sept. 13, 2023, detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit received a complaint in reference to indecent behavior with a juvenile, authorities said. Investigators said Racca made an inappropriate sexual comment to a girl under the age of 10, and that Racca showed a girl under the age of 16 pornographic videos on his phone.
Detectives obtained a warrant signed for Racca’s arrest on Wednesday. The following day he was located by the CPSO Warrants Division at which time he was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
When detectives spoke with Racca, he confirmed the victims’ allegations, officials said. His bond is set at $250,000.
