How can I make my boyfriend love me again?
DEAR DEIDRE: The day after he told me how much he loved me, my boyfriend broke up with me.
He said he doesn’t think we’re right for each other, but he’s always seemed so happy. I’m confused and devastated.
We’re both 19 and have been together for two years.
Everything was great between us until last week, when he suddenly went quiet and withdrawn.
I asked him what was wrong and he said he’d been unhappy for months but had been keeping it bottled up.
I begged him to change his mind and work on our problems – not that he could explain what they were – but he said he’d made his decision.
What can I do to make him want me again? I love him so much.
