One dead after southeast Columbus gas station shooting
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- One person has died after a shooting a southeast Columbus gas station on Friday morning.
Authorities responded to the gas station in the 4700 block of Refugee Road at about 1:40 a.m. on Friday after report of a shooting, according to the Columbus Division of Police. One person was transported to a local hospital where they later were pronounced dead.
No suspect information has been provided at this time.
The incident occurred just minutes before police were called to another shooting in downtown Columbus. Officers responded to a nightclub named Aura at about 1:45 a.m. on Friday and found several victims who had been shot. Multiple people have been pronounced dead, and a large police presence was seen investigating at the scene.
