Tokyo stocks end higher after BOJ decision

TOKYO, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks closed higher on Friday, as investors were relieved after the Bank of Japan's policy outcome suggested accommodative monetary conditions would continue for the time being.

Japan's benchmark Nikkei stock index, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average, ended up 94.09 points, or 0.24 percent, from Thursday at 38,814.56, snapping a two-day losing streak.

The broader Topix in
