Morning Live star bags brand new show away from beloved BBC daytime series
A MORNING Live star has landed a brand new show away from the beloved daytime programme.
The BBC show has become a fan-favourite and staple of the schedule since its launch four years ago.
And now one of Morning Live‘s biggest stars has been given his own show on the Beeb.
Bosses have announced Chris van Tulleken will host a brand new documentary on eating habits.
The TV doc, 45, will explore why ultra processed foods are so irresistible to eat for so many.
Airing on BBC Two, the hour-long documentary will also feature interviews with industry food insiders who will reveal why the food is so hard to resist.
Speaking about the new show, Chris said: “Poor diet has overtaken tobacco as the leading cause of early death.
“This documentary explains why and what to do about it with astounding insider interviews that expose the darker side of our food industry.”
Chris is an identical twin to his brother Xand, who is also a doctor and stars on TV.
Xand is a public health doctor, specialising in tropical medicine.
The Tulleken twins, who grew up in London, both studied medicine at Oxford University.
Their younger brother Jonathan van Tulleken is an accomplished film and TV director.
He directed the critically acclaimed Top Boy, and the BAFTA winning TV series Misfits.
