Fernandez, Pavez earn Chile call-up for Copa America

SANTIAGO, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Right-back Nicolas Fernandez and midfielder Esteban Pavez have been drafted into Chile's squad for the Copa America in the United States, the South American country's football association said on Thursday.

Both players were named on a provisional list of 55 players in May but were left out of La Roja's squad for Wednesday's home friendly against Paraguay, which the host won 3-0.
