UN – Election of Philémon Yang as president of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (11 Jun. 2024)

France congratulates Philémon Yang, the former prime minister of Cameroon, on his June 6th election by acclamation as president of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, starting on September 10. He will succeed Dennis Francis, Trinidad and Tobago's Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
