SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Briana Lin is set to open her seventh restaurant in the Capital Region. Omakase Sushi and Grill will be opening in the former 30 Lake space inside the Perennial Apartments in Saratoga Springs.

The restaurant features an omakase dining experience, meaning the chef prepares their choice of sushi for you depending on the price point. The experience will be available for $70, $90, and $110, said Lin.

"It's going to be a great experience for the customers and sushi fans," Lin told NEWS10. "It's more upscale sushi."

In addition to omakase, the restaurant will have a full bar, a la carte sushi, and a variety of Asian dishes. Lin said they are currently renovating the dining area but the kitchen is staying the same.

30 Lake permanently closed in February. The owners did not give a reason for the closure except to say it was "due to circumstances beyond our control."

Lin owns Yang's Asian Bistro in Latham, Kobe Hibachi in Latham, T-Swirl Crêpe in Latham, Azuma Sushi Bistro in Malta, Sawa Sushi Bistro in Glenmont, and Volcano Asian BBQ and Hot Pot in Niskayuna. She said her eighth restaurant is also on the way, but couldn't provide any more details.

Lin is planning to open Omakase Sushi and Grill at 30 Lake Avenue in late September or early October. The restaurant will be open for dine-in and takeout for lunch and dinner every day from about 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
