Samsung fans go wild for ‘fantastic all round’ former flagship now £100 cheaper with June cashback deal

ANDROID fans looking for an upgrade are in luck, as I’ve spotted a great deal on Samsung’s 2023 flagship phone.

Samsung is offering £100 cashback when you purchase the Galaxy S23 or S23+, taking it down from £699 to £599.

You can grab the Galaxy S23, S23+ or S23 FE from Samsung and get £100 cashback

Samsung released the Galaxy S23 in 2023, and it was recently superseded by the S24 at the end of January this year.

That, of course, means one great thing: previous generations became slightly more affordable and seeing as the S23 retailed at £849 on release and is now £699 without any reductions.

Luckily, if you’re in the market for a new device, you can pick up the Galaxy S23 or S23+ and get yourself £100 cashback to put towards a sturdy case.

The deal is obviously going down a treat, as shoppers are racing to get their hands on the cashback deal that Samsung has marked this as a top seller on its mobiles page.

The Galaxy S23 is clearly a stunning handset, but it offers a lot more than just aesthetics.

With a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED display that spans from edge to edge, apps like Netflix or Prime Video will be much more immersive.

For anyone a little lost with the screen jargon, and really who isn’t, the AMOLED display uses millions of microscopic LEDs which redefine the colours you see on the screen.

AMOLED displays can light up individual pixels to create incredible colour clarity.

Beneath the extremely attractive surface is the super-fast Snapdragon 8 processor, so if you’re a mobile gamer, the device can keep up with any of the current games on the app store.

The Galaxy S23 has a triple rear camera config, something that’s become a staple in current flagship devices.

With a 50MP wide, 10MP telephoto and 12MP ultra-wide camera, you’re more than equipped to capture your favourite memories from the big festivals, nights out or walks in the park.

Since I haven’t been lucky enough to test out this phone personally, I had to see what customers had to say about their purchases.

One Amazon shopper who is ‘loving it’ states that they ‘have just upgraded after having the Huawei Mate 20 Pro for many years.

‘The speed of this phone is amazing. Great camera quality, easy to use and love the size and colour!’

Another customer notes it’s the ‘best Samsung; I could hammer the battery all day, and it wouldn’t die.’

‘The screen is Samsung brilliance. Call reception is better than the S22; the Snapdragon chip in this made all the difference.’

While the main focus is definitely the Galaxy S23, it’s worth remembering that the £100 cashback offer applies to a few devices on the Samsung site, which you can find below.

MORE SAMSUNG DEVICES

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is slightly cheaper than the S23 and is filled with the features that fans deem the best, hence the name Fan Edition.

However, keep in mind it does sacrifice some of the frills for the cheaper price.

I’ve actually compared the device with the flagship edition in my Samsung Galaxy S23 FE vs Galaxy S23 explainer, where you can see if saving money is truly worth it.

Android phone deals have been on a roll recently, as earlier, I also spotted a Carphone Warehouse deal offering the Google Pixel 8 Pro with 100GB of data for £29.99p/m and £79 upfront – it also comes with a free Pixel Watch or Pixel Buds Pro.
