Lucky New Jersey resident wins $223M Powerball jackpot
NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – Someone in New Jersey is $223 million richer Tuesday morning after winning the Powerball jackpot.
The numbers pulled on Monday's drawing were 3, 10, 33, 58 and 59 with a red ball of 9 and a power play of 2x. Lottery officials have not confirmed where in New Jersey the ticket was sold.
New Jersey is seemingly lucky when it comes to lottery wins this year, as a Mega Millions ticket worth $1.13 billion was sold at a Neptune ShopRite in March.
It was the largest jackpot ever won in the state.
