Gaining on the MVP race

The Royals are tasked with making gains in the Wild Card race and perhaps even reach for the top of the American League Central division. But this series, they will be tasked with another side quest: that of limiting Aaron Judge and Juan Soto.

See, Judge and Soto are Bobby Witt Jr.’s top competitors in the AL Central. A strong Witt performance combined with some pitching dominance of aforementioned Yankees sluggers could play a part in who ultimately wins the MVP award. Judge is the favorite, as he should be—a probable Hall of Famer at the height of his powers.

It should be fun either way.
