Yahya Abdul-Mateen II To Star in 'Man on Fire' Thriller Series at Netflix
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has landed a new Netflix series!
The 37-year-old actor – best known for his roles in Candyman, Aquaman, and The Watchmen – will be leading the cast of the upcoming thriller series Man on Fire.
The series is based on A.J. Quinnell’s first two novels about former French Foreign Legion solider John Creasy, titled Man on Fire, released in 1981, and The Perfect Kill, released in 1982, according to Variety.

Determined to overcome his personal demons, he sets out on a path to redemption. But, before he can adjust to this new life, he finds himself back in the fire, fighting harder than ever.”
Yahya will also serve as the executive producer on the series alongside Steven Caple Jr., who will be directing the first two episodes.
