German outlet Bild have reported that the two stars were opponents during a crossing exercise.

The report states that they were repeatedly tackling each other until Fullkrug cursed at Rudiger while on the ground.

The Borussia Dortmund striker reportedly then shouted at coach Mads Buttgereit: “Blow the whistle already”.

The report goes on to say that the two then pushed each other and “almost come to blows”.

It is said that assistant coach Sandro Wagner had to step in to separate the two players.

The team then had a drinks break but both players were “still upset”.

Fullkrug is then claimed to have stormed past Rudiger and Wagner “angrily”.

The report then claims that Rudiger did not return to training and instead went for a run with the athletic trainer.

However the matter has since been dealt with, and there are no hard feelings between the two.

They are long-time mates and have been firm friends since Their days together in the German youth team.

Fullkrug and Rudiger were recently on opposite teams as Dortmund faced Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

Rudiger finished on the winning side as goals from Vinicius Jr and Dani Carvajal were enough to seal victory.

Germany is among the favourites to win Euro 2024, with the tournament being in their own nation.

They kickstart the tournament on Friday against Scotland at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Julian Nagelsmann‘s side will then face off against Hungary and Switzerland to try and qualify for the knockout stages.

Germany will be hoping to improve on their performance from Euro 2020.

England knocked them out at the round of 16 stages thanks to goals from Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane at Wembley.
