However, with the trio reaching the end of their prime — not to mention, Thompson being a risk to leave during free agency this offseason — it may be time for Golden State to rethink their winning formula. On a recent episode of The Draymond Green Show, Green discusses the future of the Warriors and explains why they must be open to changes this upcoming offseason.

“But I understand. I get it. Five years ago, I was hoping some of them forgot about it or let it go. I’m not a dirty player.”

It didn’t hurt that Jrue Holiday had a second straight terrific performance for Boston, following up his team-best plus-20 in Game 1 by going for 26 points on 11-for-14 shooting along with 6 rebounds, 3 assists, a steal, a block and no turnovers in 41 minutes Sunday night.

Holiday now has 38 points and no turnovers through two games in this series — the second-most points through two Finals games without a turnover since individual turnovers began being tracked in 1977-78, trailing only Michael Jordan in 1998.

UConn men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley told ESPN that the Los Angeles Lakers made a “compelling case” and presented a “compelling vision” for him to become the franchise’s next coach but that he loves what he has built at two-time defending national champion UConn — and plans to make a decision on his future Monday.

In a phone interview Sunday, Hurley told ESPN that he left “extremely impressed” with Lakers VP and GM Rob Pelinka and owner Jeanie Buss and had been spending Sunday weighing what sources tell ESPN is a massive, long-term offer to move to the NBA.
