Kate Middleton Might Be Considering a Request From King Charles for Trooping the Colour

The next major royal event is looming on the calendar, and people are starting to wonder if Kate Middleton might make an appearance. While the idea seems far-fetched right now given her health crisis, one royal expert is claiming that the Princess Of Wales is weighing a request from King Charles III for Trooping the Colour.

So far, Kensington Palace has been rather vague about Kate’s plans in order to protect her medical privacy. The only agenda item that they commented on was her absence from last Saturday’s rehearsal for the Trooping the Colour parade. However, they haven’t confirmed nor denied that she might make a balcony appearance on June 15, and Rhea Freeman, a U.K. PR expert is telling GB News that the Princess of Wales could be a major headline this coming weekend.

“If Kate were to appear on the balcony it would definitely dominate the news,” she shared. “But from everything I’ve read and seen, I would imagine that the King would be delighted to have her there.” Freeman believes that a cameo by Kate “would reinforce the strength of the monarchy moving forward” which “has been questioned by some with both the King and Kate’s recent health concerns.” Yet the publicist’s hopes conflict with other anonymous sources who told Us Weekly that the Princess of Wales “may never come back in the role that people saw her in before.”

Other palace insiders note that any speculation about Kate’s cancer journey is just that, speculation. There isn’t a timeline for her return until she’s feeling better. “There is no information about Kate’s ‘return’ because the focus at this moment in time is 100% on her health—to suggest she won’t return to her role is unfair and untrue,” they told Harper’s Bazaar. “Conversations of that nature are just not being had. When the time is right, she will resume her work.”

All eyes will be on the royal family on Saturday as royal fans hold their breath in hopes that Kate will make an unexpected appearance. However, it’s probably best not to put any pressure on her while she’s in recovery mode because the Princess of Wales already has the weight of the world on her shoulders.
