Aldi Just Added 3 New Pasta Salads to Store Shelves & Customers Love the Unique Flavors
Allow me to set the scene. It’s Saturday morning and you were hoping to sleep in, but instead, you were awakened at 6 a.m. by a feral pack of children who waltzed into your room demanding breakfast. You begrudgingly get up, make them breakfast and while they’re eating, you look over at the calendar and realize you have a neighbor’s BBQ to attend at 2 p.m. and need to bring a dish-to-pass. But between swim lessons, soccer practice, and laundry, you don’t have time to run to the grocery store and pick up ingredients for a side dish. Each week, Aldi drops new items called Ald Finds and they include everything from new foods to seasonal home decor. This week, Ald added three pasta salad kits that make the perfect BBQ side dish and come in three unique flavors.
“Ok well this is interesting,” Instagram user @aldi.mademedoit wrote in her post introducing shoppers to the latest Ald Finds. “I definitely grabbed the dill pickle and elote!! It looked too weird to pass up! $2.49”
Aldi’s new pasta salad kits, which come in Chipotle, Dill Pickle, and Elote flavors, will set you back less than $3 making them a unique and affordable side dish.
Customers who have tried the salad kist seem to love them. “Tired the elote tonight. I thought it was pretty good. Going to try the dill this weekend,” wrote one commenter. Another added, “We tried the dill pickle and it was so good!”
These affordable kits would also make great make-ahead dinner sides for those busy weeknights when you just don’t feel like cooking. You can even turn them into complete meals by adding in some protein like leftover rotisserie chicken or grilled sausage.
