President Emmanuel Macron paid tribute on Monday to 99 civilians hanged by the Nazis on June 9, 1944 in Tulle, central France. Macron visited a day after announcing he was dissolving the National Assembly and calling a snap legislative election after his party suffered a heavy defeat in election for the European Parliament.
