THE sun is out – and so is one particular creature in this woodsy brainteaser who is trying to stay hidden.

You have 20 seconds to put your skills to the test and spot the sneaky animal lurking around.

Within a backyard setting with an easy-to-see birdfeeder is a stone wall separating the lawn from the more untamed woods in this brainteaser posted by Redditor throawaytehworld.

“Wife won’t let me go to it, he said.

He might not have a choice but you can certainly get that timer going and try to find the creature.

With the clock ticking, it’s time to shift your focus around the scene.

At first, it might be hard to see anything but the tall green trees.

But don’t give up just yet.

Look to the right, then the left.

Now shift your gaze up and down.

Let your eyes settle to the middle of the scene above the stone wall.

Now look a little more to the lefthand side.

You might just see a brown and white speckled fawn hiding between the leaves of a small tree.

Spotted him? Congrats, you have great vision and a killer attention to detail.

That wasn’t an easy one considering he blends in pretty seamlessly with his surroundings.

Other Redditors shared advice for how to deal with baby deer who might show up in your own backyard.

“Very common and nothing to worry about. I have tons of deer around my place and see fawns stashed by themselves fairly often,” said one user.

Benefits of brainteasers and optical illusions

Researchers have developed many tests to show how various brain regions react to brainteasers and optical illusions. There are many benefits.

  • They are not only entertaining, but they also shed light on how our brains interpret visual data.
  • By giving your brain a little workout regularly, you enhance your ability to focus and observe details.
  • Studies have shown people who regularly challenge themselves with optical illusions and puzzles see big improvements in their problem-solving skills, concentration, and attention.
  • Improved concentration and attention span can help prevent cognitive decline in old age.
  • Optical illusions can improve eyesight by allowing you to see small print.

“This is totally normal. Mom thinks your yard is a nice safe spot,” another agreed.

“They usually stash a couple in our yard every spring, you just have to be careful mowing and gardening for a few weeks, then they’ll be on their way,” a third chimed in.

“We find them everywhere during wheat harvest. Always make an effort to drive them into the woods whenever we come across them,” yet another Redditor commented.

Even if you think a fawn has been abandoned, it’s important not to disturb them, according to the British Columbia ASPCA.

They explained how it’s normal for a mother deer to leave her baby alone, only coming back a few times a day for feeding time.

It most likely won’t be long until she moves the baby to another spot.

Somewhere within the pile of multi-colored rocks and fallen leaves is a gold ring.

And behind that ring is no doubt a very worried owner.

Keep looking towards the middle of the image.

You might have to squint a little but keep looking a little closer to the lefthand side.

If you found the band you just saved someone a lot of time – and money.
