Chilling moment predator stalks sex assault victim, 15, before he’s chased away by her dad after broad daylight attack
THIS is the chilling moment a sex predator stalked his teen victim before being chased off by her dad.
Irtiza Abbas hunted down the 15-year-old girl before ambushing her in a terrifying broad daylight attack.
Footage showed the 25-year-old closely following her through Birmingham after first targeting other potential victims.
Abbas then makes sure he is alone before sexually assaulting the schoolgirl.
Video then shows her dad chasing down Abbas after she bravely managed to call him to pick her up.
He could be seen grappling with the sex beast in a bid to stop him but Abbas manages to flee down a residential street.
The predator has now been jailed for two years after he admitted sexually assaulting the teen and a 22-year-old woman in a separate attack.
Birmingham Crown Court heard Abbas first struck in January as he lurked near Aston University.
In a chillingly similar attack, he followed the 22-year-old student before assaulting her.
Then, three months later, Abbas attacked the 15-year-old girl as she walked home from school.
He was arrested at his home in Birmingham on April 22 after officers painstakingly pieced together CCTV.
West Midlands Police also found clothing that matched items shown in the horrifying footage.
The force now fears Abbas may have targeted more women who are yet to come forward.
Det Insp Joe Davenport said: “We strongly believe due to the nature of the offences that Abbas may have committed more offences.
“CCTV has shown him lingering on the streets and carefully selecting his victims.
“He would follow them to make sure they were on their own before he struck.
“Although he’s pleaded guilty to two offences there’s a real time line gap and we have really strong suspicions that he may have offended again and again.
“If anyone feels that something similar has happened to them and that they’ve not come forward before, we’d ask them to reconsider.”
