Scattered Storms Start the Workweek

Rain chances are back in Acadiana this Monday but the rest of the workweek looks mostly quiet and hot. A few coastal showers are possible this morning followed by scattered showers and storms in the area as rain chances increase to 50%. Severe weather is not expected today. Otherwise, the weather will be hot and humid with highs in the lower 90s.

Mostly quiet weather returns tomorrow and should stay in place for the rest of the workweek. Seasonably hot temperatures are in the forecast too with slightly lower humidity. We are tracking a heavy rain threat for Acadiana by the end of the weekend.
