EMMERDALE’S Danny Miller had fans in stitches as he branded himself a ‘fat Wolverine with five chins’ in a new video.

The actor, 33, took a playful swipe at viral body transformation videos in the tongue in cheek TikTok clip.

Appearing shirtless and with a big bushy beard, Danny filmed himself in the mirror as he joked about letting himself go.

He said: “So I just finished work for six weeks now. I’ve got six weeks off, which is good. It gives me the chance to do a six week transformation which I’ve seen trends…

“As you can tell, I’ve let myself go a bit. My face is round, I’ve got about four or five chins, beard’s long, hair‘s a mess, like a fat Wolverine, effectively, so no time like the present.”

The screen then cut to black before Danny reappeared looking the same.

He said: “Yeah I couldn’t be arsed. I tried… I didn’t even have a hair cut really. This could have all been filmed in one day, couldn’t it? So yeah…”

Danny’s followers were amused by the skit with one commenting: “Laugh out loud moment.”

Another said: “Howling…”

A third posted: “You’re hilarious.”

Back in December, the Emmerdale star quit social media platform X and signed off with a post hitting out at body-shaming trolls.

He wrote: “Say what you want about Aaron. He’s fictional, I play what I’m told to play.

“But please don’t think commenting about ‘Danny’ being ‘fat’ or ‘chubby’ will EVER bother me.

“I’m sat eating a greasy kebab AND a pizza, laughing at you whilst gulping a FULL FAT COKE you b****nds [crying laughing emoji].”

The popular soap actor has many more fans than detractors though and they have followed him beyond his work on the Dales.

Dad-of-two Danny won I’m A Celebrity in 2021 when it was held at Gwyrch Castle, Wales, and his children’s audiobook project, Albert’s Bookshelf, is also thriving.

The proud dad reads some of his own son Albert’s favourites stories online and at events, and this month he roped in old pal Ryan Thomas as a guest to read Elmer and Grandpa Eldo.
