Dutton’s u-turn on climate target is a gift for Labor

The Coalition’s solution is to abandon the Paris Agreement target and postpone meaningful action even further while we wait for 15–20 years for the building of nuclear power stations that will produce electricity at many times the cost of renewable energy and battery storage. This is not rational policymaking, but pure ideology.
