Giant 7-foot ocean oddity found washed up on Oregon beach turns out to be new species

Perhaps the largest of its kind, this newly identified sunfish species will be around for beachgoers to see for some time, as scavengers will be unable to pierce its tough, hardy outer layer of skin.
