LOVE Island’s Ayo Odukoya admitted that he would not have picked Uma Jammeh after Mimii Ngulube was set up on a date with bombshell Omar Nyame during a shock twist.
Ayo made it clear that he had been interested in Mimii from the very first episode, but things changed when Uma entered the villa earlier this week.
Uma SNOGGED all six of the boys when she entered, while the girls watched, and then decided to take Mimii’s love interest Ayo to the Hideaway.
While Mimii shed a tear over the situation, Uma and Ayo appeared to get on like a house on fire – and he even told her that she was his “set menu”.
The hunk told Uma that he was interested in getting to know her and that Mimii knew that he was open to get to know other sexy singletons.
In Friday’s episode, Uma chose to couple up with Ayo during a recoupling, leaving Mimii single and vulnerable.
Rather than being dumped from the island, Mimii was set up on a date with Omar, leaving Ayo furious.
A ‘first look’ clip from Love Island’s Instagram page showed sneak peek of Mimii and Omar’s first meeting, revealing that they seemed to be each other’s type as they discussed their preferences.
Back at the villa, Ronnie says to Ayo: “I thought you were gonna pick Mimii.”
To which Ayo replies: “So yeah, if my speech was happening, that was gonna be my first choice.
Ronnie says: “Mimii?”
And Ayo says: “Yes.”
Ayo adds in the diary room: “I do like Mimii, I can sense from myself that I do like her because it didn’t feel good seeing it or hearing that she’s going on a date with another man.”
Upon seeing the clip on Instagram, one fan wrote: “Ayo saying he was gonna pick Mimii if he had the chance to, but his actions since uma came in says the opposite.”
“I prefer Mimii & Omar. The way Ayo dropped her for Uma? He can’t be trusted,” penned another.
