2024 European elections: French estimates put far right party at top

First projected results from France put far-right National Rally party well ahead in EU elections. Marine Le Pen's far right party won around 32 percent of the votes, a 10 point increase on the last EU election in 2019 and some 17 points ahead of Macron's party, according to the first exit polls.
