It’s Sunday, and if it’s Sunday, it’s Meet the Links.

In Mariners news...

  • Locklear time baby.
  • Watching this live I thought it was foul all the way. Could not believe it when they called it fair. Don’t look now but Garver is heating up.
  • I think the only thing we know for sure isn’t going to happen on this card is the Luis Torrens’ relief appearance.

Around the league...

  • Bryce Harper launched a homerun with his custom Phanatic bat in London yesterday and then hit the soccer celly in front of the dugout.
  • Meanwhile the Fox Sports broadcast crew was having a wild one in the booth, first trying to incite an international incident in the second, before making a questionable, yet undeniably hilarious callback after Nick Castellanos went yard in the eighth. Pay close attention after Castellanos trots around first.
  • I know they’re fourteen games under .500 going into today, but if you catch them on them on the right day the A’s are electric this year.
  • Hey, remember when the Angels traded Edgar Quero, a top 100 prospect, for one month of really bad Lucas Giolito?
  • Infielder Adael Amador will make his Major League debut for the Rockies today in St. Louis.
  • Not so much including this for the actual content of the tweet (good for Jayson Werth, the fit is immaculate) but for the comment rather bluntly asking what this tweet has to do with baseball, and the person who responded by equally bluntly asking if they know who Jayson Werth is. I found the whole interaction to be rather humorous.

Nick’s pick...

  • Dudes rock.
