Arsenal ‘set measly asking price’ for forgotten star Kieran Tierney after Real Sociedad loan transfer
ARSENAL have reportedly slashed Kieran Tierney’s valuation.
And the left-back has given a stark verdict on how likely he is to stay at the Emirates following his Real Sociedad loan.
The Scotland star, 27, has been linked with Newcastle and Aston Villa over the past year.
Just last August the Gunners reportedly wanted £30million for the former Celtic hero.
But the Metro say Arsenal are now willing to offload Tierney this summer for around £10m.
His first-team chances have reduced since Oleksandr Zinchenko and then Jurrien Timber arrived at the Emirates in the last two seasons.
And Tierney was hardly a roaring success during his 2023-24 loan with Sociedad, making only 14 LaLiga starts.
Asked if staying at Arsenal was possible, he previously told talkSPORT: “You never know in football.
“It’s probably quite rare that it happens when you come back from a loan.
‘”Of course, you’ve got circumstances like Saliba where they’ve just come back and I don’t think he’s been out the team since.

“But it’s maybe a bit different for someone who has played four years already and goes back, but you genuinely never know.
“Football is a mad place so let’s see what happens.”
Tierney also reckons leaving on loan was the right solution for both himself and the Gunners.
He put that down to: “The way things had developed at Arsenal, the way the team was going and what had happened last season with game-time etc.”
Tierney added: “It probably worked best for both parties that I got out and get a new experience, some game-time.”
