A’s vs. Braves game thread
Heading into the series finale against an AL East foe
The A’s got a win yesterday to even the series up a game apiece. Now they head into today’s series finale with a chance to steal a win and take the series against one of the better teams in the National League.
Today will be extra fun because the club will welcome back right-hander Luis Medina back to the big league club. Medina as you all know has missed the entire season up to this point after injuring his knee during spring training. He’s completed his rehab assignment and will finally take the mound today for the first time this year in the Green & Gold.
Here’s the Oakland lineup on this early morning day:

About what you’d expect the lineup to look like against a right-handed pitcher.
And that right-hander will be veteran Charlie Morton. The 14-year vet is having a solid if unspectacular season so far, which benefits the A’s. Let’s hope they saved some offense for today.
